Join us for a weekend in the beautiful Gifford Pinchot State Park just south of Harrisburg, PA June 27-29, 2025. Participants will experience a 2.5 day retreat designed for pairs of all kind to experience more play, awe, freedom, love, aliveness, and peace. Reconnect with the carefree spirit of childhood and implement the learning as you reintroduce your light-hearted self to the world.
Learn how to co-create agreements and get the people in your life on the same page, so you can move forward together in harmony.
You'll learn the qualities of a playful mindset and how to practice them every day.
Remember when we had to give others our toy so we could “play fair,” and were resentful because of it? This is NOT that! This is about productive and healthy conflict strategies so we can share our toys and still like other people.
Life rarely goes how we plan it will. How do we get back up and start playing again in the shortest time possible?
Has life’s responsibilities knocked the fun right out of you? We’ll help you find that sense of wonder for life again and use it to be responsible for creating the life we want to live.
This workshop is limited to 10 pairs of people, so don't wait! Spots will sell out fast!

Breakfast, lunch, snacks and cold drinks will be provided each day of the workshop.
Handouts and free resources are available for all participants so the learning can continue beyond the workshop.
The connections and relationships built within the retreat will carry on beyond the weekend; You'll walk away with a supportive community that will stick with you as you continue deepening your journey.
This is a not-for-profit program. Aaron & Roach are currently in the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI) Leadership Program and have created this retreat to fulfill a program requirement. This retreat is a not-for-profit program, meaning CTI nor the retreat leaders are profiting from the "Recess for Grown-Ups" retreat fees. Rather, the $269 fee is required to cover program costs such as leader travel, pavilion rental, food, and supplies.
